What Has Changed Since I Started Using A Pillow For Side Sleepers

Sleeping isn’t my hobby but whenever I go to bed, I always want to utilize my time well and relax as much as the time allows me to.

Ever since I was ten years old, I discovered that my body favored side sleeping more than any other sleeping position since every time I slept on my back or stomach, I could wake up very tired and depressed.

Even though, discovering my favorite sleeping style didn’t change anything since sometimes my brother would wake me up snoring or breathing heavily.

While in college I was really having hard time as I could spend some nights fully awake.

In my final year in college a friend recommended using side sleeper pillows as he claimed that his brother had suffered the same problem and recuperated after he started using a pillow.

I was desperately looking for a solution to my problem so I couldn’t ignore his suggestion. I went ahead to order a memory foam side sleeper pillow.

Since then, my nights changed to be the most relaxing moments. I could even find myself sleeping in day time.

All the pain in my neck and joints ceased as the pillow provided adequate support to keep my neck, head and spine keeping them free from stress and pain.

Soon after I bought the pillow, I started to witness a positive change in my sleeping behaviors. I was not snoring anymore. My breathing returned to normal and my friend was not anymore complaining about me. The pillow provided my head and spine with the comfort they needed so that they could allow my air passages to open and air to flow efficiently to my other parts of the body.

Today, I have turned out to be the most attentive and reliable person. I don’t nap at work as I sleep enough during the night. I don’t have sleep disorders as I it used to be before I invested in side sleeper pillows.

Every time I go to bed, I do make the most from my time.

You will rarely find me awake at late night unless I have an urgent project to complete. As well, my healthy has really improved as you will rarely hear me complain of back pain, neck ache or spine discomfort.

If you have ever faced similar problems to the ones I faced and you feel that it is time to improve your health, investing in a pillow for side sleepers is the best thing you can ever do.

Three Big Problems with Windows 10 Tablets

Broadly speaking, when we are looking for a tablet today, there are three choices available: iPad, Android and Windows 10.

The latter comes from the conventional side of computing world. It means that Windows 10 tablets won’t only work as tablets, but could also assume partial role as laptops.

It is possible for users to get both capabilities without having to purchase two separate devices.

Windows 10 tablets are currently produced by Huawei, Samsung and Microsoft itself.

Windows 10 tablets are visually attractive and well-built. They could become slim and lightweight laptop replacements.

However, despite their good design and performance, there a number of weaknesses that should be considered:

1. App problems: In the eyes of apps developers, Windows 10 tablets are still second-class citizens. Many 3rd-party apps in the Windows Store get slow updates.

In this case, Windows 10 is simply miles behind both Android and iOS, in terms of app updates.

Although Windows Stores have more than enough apps for many people, the whole experience still feels less fulfilling compared to the competitors. It’s the 3rd-party apps that make owning and using mobile devices enjoyable and fun.

Unfortunately, Windows 10 are still unable to make the experience meaningful. Once we check the Windows Store, we could find a hit-and-miss selection.

There’s a Kindle app, but no Marvel Unlimited and Comixology.

There’s an app for Facebook, but there’s none for Instagram.

It’s possible to install desktop apps on Windows 10 tablets, but they don’t provide good experience with their non-touch-optimized interface.

2. Resolution problems: Problems related desktop apps in Windows 10 tablets can be made even worse by the overall poor handing of high resolution displays.

Back then, high resolution means that everything is made tiny.

Today, the screen density has become larger, so icons, images and text look pin-sharp and not microscopic.

Apps in Windows Store often scale quite well, providing crisp text on tablets with good-looking displays.

Unfortunately, some desktop apps look like blurry mess when installed and run on Windows 10 tablets.

This could happen when the interface is magnified without making the pixel density larger. On a tablet, this could make a particularly poor experience.

3. Battery problems: Working with Windows 10 tablet can be great, but their standby battery life is sometimes disappointing.

This could happen even when we enable the battery-saving feature. With other tablets, such as Apple iPad; we could definitely get a full day of work.

When we want to put an Android tablet or iPad to sleep, we could briefly press the power button and it will still have charge the next morning.

On some Windows 10 tablet, we could let it sleep overnight, only to find it completely dead the next morning.

Windows 10 tablets come with integrated battery-saving feature.

However, Windows 10 often imposes a tighter control over the power management of the device, including when it’s asleep. It’s less likely that we will have instant-on responses when we turn on the device.

Both iOS and Android tablets excel here.

The Google Pixel C could last a week while on standby, as does Apple iPad Pro. However, with Samsung TabPro S, we would be lucky to get a full day of standby.

These problems could seem trivial, but with the waning tablet market; it has become more competitive. Consumers can be more selective in choosing the right for their requirements.

Windows 10 tablets can still be amazing and the hardware is getting there, but unfortunately, the software isn’t.
